Hail hail rock and roll!

So there have been some really great shows on BBC recently. Last night I saw a great one chronicling the history of Chess records. The best part of the show was when they were talking about how white Americans only heard black blues music through The Rolling Stones. It was previously ignored untill Mick said it was cool then bang everyone was mad about these cats. Crazy! Not much has changed today it seems...

On another note, Chuck Berry is/was and forever will be the king of rock and roll. Check this out from a great show on BBC the the other night. Too cool, and he knows it.

Olay!

Trought's Little Pad

So our good pal and engineer Simon Trought(pictured on the right) has a brand new shop opening 6th November. There you will find vintage clothes and knick knacks and some great live music.

It's under the record shop at 127 Stoke Newington Church Street. If you're nearby and/or fancy some vintage goodness please stop by and buy some things from him!

In other news the recording is almost complete, and it's sounding damn good. We're really happy with it so bring on the mixing!

The Bees have a new record out called Every Step's a Yes. It's a definate yes so go buy it. I bought it twice it's that good.

Peace and love x
